The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! I have come for the dollar oysters on Fridays a few times, but I need to try out some other things on my next visit. Oysters are always fresh and delicious and love that they rate each type not just by flavor but by shucking difficulty too.

Fishtown Seafood has an amazing variety of fish and seafood options. The quality is amazing and you can really taste the difference. Bryan is highly knowledgeable and directly sources the seafood. The fish packaging even reveals the captain of the boat’s name; it’s clear to see that everyone involved with getting the seafood to your door is proud of the product they sell.

Stellar quality for their size. Oyster selection is always excellent, with various profiles along the east coast. Fish selection is always great - fresh or frozen. Steaks are underrated for the cost, especially comparative to top quality Kobe. Pantry selection is well curated and I really recommend the sudachi! Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Oysters can be overwhelming and they are always there to talk it out to help make some picks if you don’t know what you like! I know a fair amount about oysters and I still chat it up to see what’s new!

I am a huge fan of fishtown seafood. I go to their location on Pine. There is a lot of variety here from New Zealand and Coho salmon to Ahi tuna and more. I like using the King salmon which is sashimi grade for poke bowls. The taste and texture is really high quality. Aside from quality, my purchase is also supporting ethical sourcing of seafood. Support this business!

Fishtown Seafood is my absolute favorite neighborhood gem I tell everyone about - Bryan's curation of sustainable seafood, the interesting selection of sauces, seasoning, and accoutrements, the fresh produce, and local artisan cookware and kitchen accessories make Fishtown Seafood so unique and deliberate. But what really keeps me coming back is the QUALITY: I will never buy a scallop from anywhere else! Everything I've bought - fresh, frozen, tinned - is absolutely delicious, affordable, and of amazing quality. Bonus: make sure to chat Bryan or his staff up about what's new and good! Everyone at Fishtown Seafood is so knowledgeable about their products, their sourcing, cooking practices, etc. Everything in the shop has a story, and I always leave having learned something new.

Got some seafood filling and shrimp... wow !! The lovely dude at the front counter gave us some good tips and we enjoyed some homemade seafood ravioli with vodka sauce and shrimp! Would definitely recommend checking out this cute little corner fish spot.

We’ve been so happy to know that Fishtown Seafood is around the corner. Bryan is highly knowledgeable and passionate about what he sells and makes great recommendations every time! We enjoy the Friday happy hour oyster selections, and recently tried the sashimi grade salmon which was delicious! We used the salmon to make a ceviche. It’s so great to have a small business in the neighborhood that offers fresh and responsibly sourced seafood. It’s become our go-to spot!
